Is there a chance that the WI-08 special will give us any indication of where we are nationally?
Republicans in Wisconsin are dicking with our State Constitution with 2 ballot questions, in a sour attempt of retribution after the Federal funds allocated during the pandemic were properly distributed as needed by the state governor. This upset them greatly, as they are accustomed to withholding state funding at the state level in the state legislature, to seemingly punish areas that aren’t reliable Republican strongholds.
The federal covid funds (and any future federal funding) aren’t required to be held up in state legislative red tape, but Republicans would like to change that. That’s what their 2 ballot questions as written, if passed, would allow them to do.
Maybe another squad maybe gets yanked
Would be nice if Omar lost but I doubt it, she’s at a way better position than last year and has moderated quite a bit
Ilhan Omar seems to not be in as hot water as some of her less experienced Squadys. She defeated the same person in a very close race last time. MN in her district have takes on that?
Are there any major races to keep an eye on here or is most of this business as usual here?
