What’s the age to be prosecuted up there? Surely the parents have to be fined or child services involved

Parents need to be up in front of a judge and charged with neglect and held directly accountable for the kids actions.
.
Nice hefty fine for them if they’re working or a temporary cut to social welfare if they’re not. If social welfare is to be cut they can be issued with non transferable food vouchers that can’t be spent on booze or fags so kids don’t go hungry.
Mandatory attendance at parenting courses for them also and further cuts/fines if they don’t or if their kid doesn’t engage in mandated education/training etc…

Now charge the parents.
