A 10km swim is just mental

I was at the swim and while he was never near the podium I think he should be proud of that. That’s more than 6 times longer than his longest event. Oddsmakers having him as amongst the favorites is just crazy and it’s based on people betting him, not reality. To swim that distance competitively for the first time ever – at the olympics no less – and still finish ahead of others who haven’t been swimming at these games is still a worthy achievement. And he won two medals already, one gold.
