“The kitchen is for eating freeze dried ice cream, not masturbating, Eric!
    That’s it. I’m conducting a study!”

_The authors add, “The experiment is the first archaeology ever to happen off of the planet Earth. By applying a very traditional method for sampling a site to a completely new kind of archaeological context, we show how the ISS crew uses different areas of the space station in ways that diverge from designs and mission plans…..”_

I was surprised to find this is an article written by Archaeologists. Normally I associate them with digging stuff up.
Is it really an archaeological study, or just an engineering review to check that intended function meets actual purpose?

Anyone have a link to the original study? Assuming it is available online of course. I wasn’t able to find it in the article (though I wasn’t super thorough).
