  1. Despite the ads on their buses trumpeting the fact that they take contactless payments, their card machines are never working. They have the cheek to tell me the issue is my card, which doesn’t give any problems anywhere else. Brazen fuckers.

Just wanted to get that out.

They should probably be getting some state funding due to the woeful state of our public transport.

If you land late at night your only options are Aircoach or taxi.

I was wondering why the driver was allowed to blast his personal playlist of light metal covers of rock ballads in our ears the other night on the way home. The answer is, he’s not afraid of being fired.

Aircoach have reduced their services in my area post COVID. I had an early flight last year where my only option was to sleep in the airport overnight.

    It’s such a valuable service.

  5. It’s such a relief when my mum offers to collect me from the airport. Getting to and from Sandyford is such a ball ache. Instead of driving around the M50, it snakes through town stopping everywhere and taking twice as long. I also noticed the prices have doubled in the past decade.

  6. My mother waited for one last time for an hour and a half, then it didn’t even stop as it was full. Ended up on Dublin bus even with a booked ticket. No notice if disruption from them. With that great service we’ll be lining up to use it.

Cork to Dublin is a dream.

On the bus, close the eyes & wake up at Dublin airport.
