Please don’t. Our streets are already an obstacle course of litter, dog/human sh*t, bags of rubbish, seagulls, teenagers on e-scooters, broken glass and too many sign posts. We do NOT have the space

There’s plenty of electric bicycle hire services around the country now. An adequate and safer version of a scooter.

This is what scooter sharing becomes, they get abandoned all over the pavement, it’s great craic to have to pick your way around them. The bikes are a much better scheme.

Often, the techbro model of business is to run ahead of regulation to smash and grab profits before the law can catch up (Uber, AirBnB).
Social consequences? Too bad, gotta go fast. I’m glad the fuckers got checked this time.
