What ever happened to that minor Irish celeb after their 15 mins of fame?

Whatever happened to Frostbit boy? Ruairi McSorley became famous from this viral video in 2015 and went on to star in his own music video and earn himself guest spots on late night talk shows. He went quiet for a few years until news of the rescue of a young man stranded out at sea for 12 hours hit the headlines. The story took a bizarre turn when it was revealed the young man was Frostbit boy. He attempted to swim over 5 miles to a rock in the middle of Tralee Bay. The media has left him alone since it has become clear Ruairi is on the autism spectrum and is not quite "all there".

• The fella from Cork who created the Martin’s Life videos on Youtube. Apparently he crumbled under the pressure of his own success and stopped making new videos. People wanted to give him awards such as Cork Person of the Year but he shunned the spotlight and wanted to remain anonymous.

• The red faced horse trainer who declared to the nation he would be having sex tonight after his horse won.

• Geri Maye from the Den. Left Ray D’arcy at the altar.

• Kevo who used to do video game reviews on the Den back in the 1990s. Some crazy stories floating about regarding this guy. Locked up in Mountjoy, got into heroin. I can’t confirm if they’re true but I’ve heard this from many people.

• Galway political activist Joe Loughnane went viral in 2014 thanks to his outburst against a university lecturer. He was a media darling for brief period as he vowed to fight "the racists" and even ran for election with PBP in 2020. He ended coming up second last with a paltry 437 votes and was expelled by PBP after it was revealed he was a serial abuser of women and a drug dealer. The once outspoken activist has been very quiet since.
