Free camping rules in Switzerland

Hi, I am researching whether it is possible to pitch a tent in a forest for the night in Switzerland, but I am struggling to find a clear answer.

Reading online ( https://www.sac-cas.ch/de/umwelt/bergsport-und-umwelt/campieren-und-biwakieren/ ) it seems that it should be possible, but I would like to understand if I need to verify this for every specific canton I intend to go to, and if so, how?
