Once, a Cypriot told me that there is a general feeling of fear that Zionists are taking over gradually. Is the feeling that common?

an Israeli here, nobody in Israel wants to take over your country. Haaretz is a newspaper that always finds ways to antagonise everyone because it brings them traffic. Most Israelis travel to the US / Germany when they emigrate out of Israel.

  2. Cyprus has always had religious and ethnic groups pass through. Some get assimilated. Some form ghetto communities. Some pass through and disappear. It’s considered a relatively stable country for it’s geographical location.
Russians have a lot of property. British have a lot of property. Israelis, various Asians and Arabs are buying properties.
I don’t see much of an issue as long as we change our way of thinking as q country.
Stop fearing foreigners and try to assimilate them into our society. Teach our ways and learn from theirs.
The only issue is that Cypriots can’t afford to buy land or keep theirs anymore. We were partially protected from ruin even after the “haircut” because Cypriots are the majority land owners and they distrust banks so they had cash. What will happen to the Cypriots now, when soon they will have the minority of land ownership.

Long ass ansewr, My apologies in advance. 🙏😅

  3. Welcome. Look at what the Jews have done in history, lifted up intellectual activities, wrote great books, invented most of physics, solved the toughest math problems, write computer code, build self-driving cars. Cyprus is about far behind the rest of Europe in it’s thinking. This place is so anti-intellectual. Jews built symphonies, hospitals, and nuclear weapons where Palestinians lived in malaria-filled squalor farming goats. Russians who have come here are quite well-educated too, and I hope pro-democracy, and can bring ballet, chess, tennis. Drag the Cypriots into the 21st century by proximity to modernity. Germans are pouring in here. Cypriots need to pick up the pace or get left behind in their own land. Quit looking for government jobs and create private ones. Write some books. Create some film and art. I don’t see any of that here. Americans and Australians coming here, but the government has made it difficult for them to residency permits long term. Soon foreigners run for political office, so great will be our numbers, vote out the people who do nothing, and privatize government services.

If we get the Israeli attitude over here in Cyprus, we as Cypriots are fucked.

Those who work with Israelis know what i mean.

Just be careful they don’t try and steal your land like they’re doing in Palestine

Foreigners need to respect the country they come into and not impose their way of life onto others with entitlement.
Foreigners should adjust and adapt to the society they integrate to otherwise Cyprus will lose the very little identity and culture it has left.
Let alone that the locals havent got sufficient resources to buy their own property and prices have spiraled out of control in general.

  7. I don’t see the big deal. Cyprus is always for sale to the highest bidder: British, Russian, Chinese, etc. My experience with Jews is that they mean business and are very professional. I don’t get the big hate against them.

People who sold their country to Russians worry about being bought by Israelis.

  9. As an Israeli i am moving there in a couple of months
Israel is becoming more and more religious/expensive so i am moving
I hate to hear how Israeli are behave as foreigners
But its not surprising at all
Israeli altitude is shit in Israel as well as the rest of the world

What does being a Zionist have anything to do with this? I don’t think you even know what the word Zionism means. Why not just say Israelis?

  11. Cypriots need to hold on to their ancestral land! Before you know it they’ll take away your culture, your language, your religion… etc

If you, as an American pretend to care about someone occupying Cyprus, you better begin with your own military partners.
