The article is, as the title suggests, based off an Azeri perspective, so obviously read into this with the knowledge that it’s cuckoo. Nevertheless, I posted it here for this part:

    > But in recent days, the Armenian side shamelessly spreads false information about Azerbaijan violating the ceasefire regime

    > What does the EU mission say? They issued a statement saying that there was no activity on the border and the ceasefire regime was not violated by Azerbaijan. Even Toivo Klaar, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, stated that the presence of the EU mission there prevents the spread of ‘fake’ news and false information.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but is this referencing last week when there were gunshots across the border to some village’s car and buildings? If so, did the EUMA really deny this took place at all? I don’t quite recall them making a note of this beyond them stating that the border is calm, but my assumption was that the response was aimed towards Azerbaijan’s claim that there’s a build-up of troops. Was it this then, or was it about us getting shots fired at our border and the EUMA just ignoring it/not responding to it?

Either way, the vagueness of their responses and the way they so suddenly went ahead to post ‘FAKE’ on one of our MOD’s posts when they retracted it after is a bit pathetic. Of course, their presence is of great benefit to us and in no way, shape, or form am I suggesting we’d be better off with them gone. I’m simply saying it’s rather annoying the West’s fetish to ‘both sides’ everything to keep trying to bring Azerbaijan west keeps rearing its head here.

  2. Thats because pro-western Armenia gets support from the West, any help to Armenia is the crime in Azeri eyes
