I am currently travelling through your beautiful country and sometimes I get irritated because there are cars (mostly Pick up trucks) without liscence plates but with red triangular warning signs at the back. They ususally drive around going 30kph. What’s that guys?

Its not a car, its a traktor.
google: sweden slow cars without liscense plates
Those are epa-traktors and they’re not allowed to drive faster than 30 km/h.

Mostly children from hillbilly families.
In Sweden we hire youths to drive these around to help other drivers practice patience and prevent road-rage.

It’s working already!
They were supposed to be used on farms only.

It’s the pinnacle of swedish culture and they makes sure the motorburen ungdom can go to ICA to buy energidryck and play the epa-dunk and dansbandsmusik.Â
White trash teenagers abusing a loop-hole allowing them to drive slow cars categories as “tractors”.
They are cars that have been modified so that they can’t drive faster than 30km/h to be considered tractors by law. They are used by young teenagers who are not old enough yet to get a proper drivers license.
Technically speaking, it’s a trailer tractor. A special case vehicle intended for hauling trailers at low speed on public roads. (Typical user case, moving good from a warehouse and down the road to a store.)
The problem with it, if you consider that a problem, is that you can get a tractor license when you are 16 (or at 15 if you reside at or is employed by a farm), the same license you need to drive a registered moped car.
Compared to a regular car license, that you can get at 18.
These refitted (usually electronically altered) vehicles are often a lot cheaper to buy and own than a moped car, so they are VERY popular among the…to be fair, completely unintended user group.

Ah, Färgelanda. To be fair up there they kind of make sense, there are no busses (nor traffic lights, except a novelty one) in Dalsland.
