Lovely video. It makes me so sad that there are still many people that are just keen to divide the people even further rather than bring us all together .

Nice Greek video🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷
Just to remind everyone, the Cypriot problem is not a bi-communal conflict. It’s a problem of invasion and occupation by a foreign power and anyone who tries to portray it as otherwise, is just playing by the Turkish rulebook.

All I saw was the Turk snatching, once again, what is not his.
Sure, we can discuss friendship, but first, let’s set aside the “Mavi Vatan” ideologies and any fantasies about resurrecting the Ottoman Empire. It’s 2024 and the Turks STILL maintain the largest amphibious assault force in the Mediterranean. AGAINST WHOM?? The Norwegans or the Italians? Why are you afraid to speak the truth?

I see that students don’t talk Greek at all, a funny dialect, mix English with Greek and makes you wonder WTF they teach them at schools? I get this is a cyprus dialect of Greek but darn, teach them how to properly express themselves without adding foreign words. This is the beauty of Greek language. Even boris Johnson talks in proper Greek (grammar and syntax). I don’t give a shot about the agenda of the video. Is this an AKEL promotion again?

Omg, terrible comments…. (mostly).
All british overseas territories wanted independence! Check all british colonies. The problem is that instead of letting the British leave our island in peace, EOKAs (plural) wanted the unification with Greece. Cyprus was always a more intercultural island. We have been conquered by so many nations but still we kept our ancient origins of greek decent (hence our cypriot dialect derives from ancient greek , italian, french, turkish and english).
Lets recognise our rich history which is totally different than Greece and Turkey, and become a really independent country. But believe me, brits will never let the unification of the island as they will be next.
