    The four Horsemen of the Feidias Idiocy


    Lets discuss the 4 terrible mistakes Feidias has done. Bonus info: 3 of them since he became a member of the european parliament

    I think the order is chronologically correct

    1: we start of with a strong one: The Japan Incident. Dine and Dashing, begging for people and preying on their cultural politeness for money, (and then "more please), and of course illigally using the train to make a youtube video for money and popularity

    Now I understand (and I hope) most people who voted for him didn’t know about this. And now I am wondering, are cypriots as polarized as americans to continue to support their vote after the next 3 mistakes he did since after their vote?

    2: Asking a teenager to eat a cigarette butt for 50 euros. If you think that’s not a big deal look at the study discussing how dangerous it is. If I remember the video correctly (can’t find it anymore, it was an underage person. Please someone confirm)

    3: Putting a poll IN TWITTER that would decide his next vote. Now I am not saying I dislike the idea of his votes being decided by the public nor that I like it but using twitter to do so. Everyone can vote, non europeans, non cypriots, non ADULTS buuuuutttt NOT people without a twitter account. And of course lets not forget of someone making 50 accounts to get 50 votes.

    1. The cherry on top: "Ok girl you are not the only orphan how do you act like this" to a person who lost both their parents (y’all know the details here).

    I am genuinely asking: Do people who voted for him still support their vote now? (EDIT: of Feidias Idiocy. I shouldn’t have used "the")

      You can compare their comments in this sub from before he was elected and after. 

      Before it was mainly that he’s young and not affiliated with politics and that he is rich so won’t be pandering to interests, so that why he’s gonna change the system and be like the wind of change. Which tbf are all valid reasons (if you ignore his past or just want to protest vote for the memes)

      Now it’s changed depending on the fuck up du jour. With the refugee chick it’s thay he’s just saying what other politicians do (I guess he’s not really that different from him). 

      Or it’s that they enjoy that it’s a circus because for some reason they think the establishment is quaking in their boots. 

      I haven’t seen the excuses for him trying to make money off of issues (like making a podcast with the people he insulted to solve their problems lol). Or the excuses about doing what his followers (or Twitter botfarms) want instead of his electorate. 

      I would guess his voters fall into 2 categories, those who don’t really care because they didn’t expect anything more and voted for him for the memes as a protest. And those who actually bought what he was selling. Probably we only hear from the second cohort.

      He’s done way more than these 4 mistakes. Have a look at his YouTube history. He had a history of doing and saying offensive and inflammatory things in older videos before the Japan one. It’s just that the Japan one got more attention.

      The orphan incident is like the most relatable expience with Cyprus whenever a government or banking employee has to take responsibility for something. That cherry is the very nature of Cypriot ‘why should I care’. View that more abstractly from the people involved here.

      Feidias is laughing all the way to the bank. He’s in it purely for the money. He will milk the European Parliament as much as he can and then resign and move on.
