I first met Mia (tricolor) a few days ago.ย
In downtown Skopje, North Macedonia.ย
Where I’m on vacation.ย
She was skinny, full of head sores and so desperate for food, she was trying to eat discarded cigarette butts off the ground.ย
I tried finding rescue organizations to help her. Sadly only one bothered to even respond to my pleas. And it was only to tell me they only take dogs.ย
If I could, I would have taken her home. I would have taken all 3 home to join my already large brood of 5 felines.ย
But my country has laws against importing animals that prevents me from saving her.ย
So I started feeding her every day by Amigos Mexican Restaurant and Bar.ย
ย I bought them bowls for food and water.ย
And every day I’m here I’ve been feeding them and giving them fresh water.ย
I worry what will happen once I leave next week. I worry they won’t have anything to eat.ย
I hope making an online presence about their situation will make good samaritans in the area come to their aid, and that they’ll continue feeding Mia and her little family.ย
Please help me make this post go viral so they won’t go hungry when I’m no longer around. โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ
