    Submission Statement:

India has no right to carry out development in the area China calls South Tibet, China’s Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday in response to a Reuters report on New Delhi’s plans to speed up hydropower projects in the border state.

“South Tibet is China’s territory,” a foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement.

It said India had no right to carry out development there and the establishment of what India calls Arunachal Pradesh on Chinese territory is “illegal and invalid”.

Reuters reported on Tuesday that India plans to spend $1 billion to expedite the construction of 12 hydropower stations in the northeastern Himalayan state.

China calls the shots on this one.

Nothing (meaningful) India can do, other than following China’s will.

  3. I’m sure India will comply by making sure these infrastructures will be built and garrisoned for good measure. Only thing can China do is call out India for its copy cat.

  4. As an American, I’m grateful to China for pissing of most of their neighbors. We will happily accept them moving closer to the USA as a result.

Yet that’s exactly what they’re doing in the South China Sea

Boy that Modi trip sparked a swift reaction from Xi. China is being surrounded by Russia playing N Korea and India. When is China going to come to terms with the real hegemony…Russia.

  7. Is China losing the geopolitical game… to Russia?

Come team with us China 😛

  8. Actually it’s China that has no right to occupy Tibet. Indian neighbor on the north was Tibet not China. It invaded Tibet in 1951, sending huge influx of refugees into India where they remain to this day. Tibetan culture is wiped out, Dalai Lama exiled to India , where at least they enjoy freedom of religion.
