In recent days, a secret number and "Icelandic" numbers starting with 9 take turns calling me.
I answered the secret number once (thought it was my boss calling) and then it sounded like I was making a call and a woman with a foreign accent who was clearly sitting in a call center said Hello and when I didn’t answer she hung up. So these numbers have each called me once a day.
Is there anything I can do to get rid of this or do I just have to bite the bullet of changing my phone number for the first time in 20 years? Does rejecting the calls a few times work and then it stops? Or should I answer and just say i’m very sorry I have no money for you to steal?
