SpaceInMyBrain on July 2, 2024 9:18 pm Interesting idea – but I doubt NASA will ever go for it. If the astronaut unreels some of the umbilical as shown then it’ll drag across the regolith. Not gonna happen. If the robot is on a short leash then there will be tugging on the astronaut.
