Flood in the Rhône valley

Following the heavy rain of yesterday, the Rhône overflowed during the night and flooded a large area in Sierre/Chippis as well as an industrial area in Susten.

The Saastal, Zermatt and Goms also got damage from overflowing rivers.

Expect many closed roads and railways.
