What can we do?

Me and my girlfriend have been living in a rather cheap apartment for a year. We already had a few shortcomings such as the dishwasher not working (got it replaced after months of back and forth), stairwell that is not cleaned and we walk past cobwebs and dirt. Also the dryer doesnt work, still not fixed.

My concern here is that the landlord is using the entrance area to store (probably illegal) components for his other businesses. As can be seen in the picture, it is also at the height of our balcony.

What can I do? I told and asked him about that several times via whatsapp. He doesnt really care… my neighbor also dont care too much, they are little bit older, foreigners and not familiar with swiss law…..pls help.
