People have lived in this region for tens of thousands of years, its no shock that when you dig where people have lived in the past you find their bones.
The question is; what will this be spun as? Lachin construction workers will be under the direct supervision of the federal government in the recolonization process of Karabakh. That makes me think something that isn’t really there will be proclaimed, another “west zangezur republic” type situation. I hope this isn’t a victim of a massacre but if this gets the attention of the right people I doubt it matters what the reality is, whoever this person was will be changed to match a narrative. Not trying to attack Azeris alone here, if this situation was repeated 10 years ago it’d probably be all the same. Fuck historical revisionism.

Very interesting, people in the comments say that it is quite natural and does not mean anything at all.
When I said something somewhat similar to this in a very similar incident of finding bones during construction in Turkey, I was banned from r/worldnews for “denying genocide”. 😀
