Ruben Vardanyan is an affluent, ambitious, and well-connected man.
But he- an oligarch in charge of some of Russia’s industries- was exchanged by Putin for a couple bottles of Azeri brandy for his fair-weather soldiers. I hope those poor fcks enjoyed that spirit as they were shipped from NK to the Ukraine front.
I don’t understand the Russian state. I really don’t. I’d understand giving away officials like FM David Babayan. Grand scheme of things they’re nobodies, sacrificial peasants to satisfy Ilham’s ego.
But giving Vardanyan to Aliyev is absolute strategic nonsense. Ruben’s fcking Russian tax paying businesses have suffered as a result of his absence. We all know it. Losing the boss produces corporate chaos and infighting.
This is exactly why I don’t understand the opposition. Ruben was adamant about following Russia’s orders and turning both Armenia and Artsakh into tatarstan where he would serve as governor general. He got screwed implemented this agenda.
Worst thing is, even if he is by divine intervention released, his brain/mind won’t fully recover from torture. He’s too old for the brain to rebound from the injuries (physical or psychological) inflicted. Like, don’t you opposition clowns see something wrong with how your own leader was treated by the power he supported?

Well, he can always ask to call 1-800-Kremlin for emergency assistance. I guess number is not available anymore.
