    The soviets took administrative control of Kaliningrad in 1945, the Russian Empire fell in 1917.

  3. That’s impossible because Konigsberg belong to Germany until WW2 when Soviet annexed it and renamed it Kaliningrad in 1946. There’s no chance the Romanov family can escape there during Russian Revolution.
