Keep moving forward to rearmament. Let them make threats. Now we have moved up in scale to Turkey and the West duking it out, and we must play for the Western side. We have a role to play, and that is bringing lateral trade under Western influence.

“We will give Azerbaijan 3 trillion Turkish lira, which is like 295 US dollars or something. I don’t know; maybe it will be less next month,” ~ Mevlut Chavushoglu (no family relation to Kevork Chavush).

It’s fine, go ahead. Stopping buying arms because your enemy will buy more is the stupidest thing. Besides it’s hard to believe that azeris can significantly speed up the procurement process, they are already buying an insane amount

Yes we get American and French weapons
They get Russian and Turkish. Sounds like a good deal to me.

So quite literally, Turkic interests are 3 times more important than the Western interests for Turkey. D’you hear, West?

I wish Armenia hadn’t bothered sending aid after the earthquake. Instead of using that as an opportunity to reconcile, and use their money to rebuild their broken towns and cities, they’d rather spite us even more. They never change.
