The Russian Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to its Armenian partners after the Armenian delegation visited Bucha, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told NEWS.ru. According to him, Moscow considers the visit of Armenian representatives to this Ukrainian city as an unfriendly step.
"We consider the visit of Tigran Ter-Margaryan, the head of the Nor-Nork administrative district of Yerevan, and Vladimir Karapetyan, the head of the diplomatic representation of Armenia, to the city of Bucha as an unfriendly step on the official part of Yerevan. We are concerned about their support for the needs of the armed forces of Ukraine and the unacceptable statements made there against Russia. We have sent a note of protest to the Armenian Foreign Ministry," said Zakharova.
On June 2, the Ukrainian AnalitikaUA agency informed about the visit of the Armenian delegation, referring to the press service of Bucha city council. According to the website, Ter-Margaryan allegedly discussed the "cooperation between the Buchan community and Yerevan’s Nor Nork district" and declared that "Yerevan will always support the victims of Russian aggression"writes NEWS.ru.

Cry me a river
We should open an embassy in Bucha or make Bucha as a sister city to any armenian city.
The Russians really want to influence our foreign policy, which is why it’s essential to diversify as much as possible away from them. Since we don’t share a border with Russia, they can’t grab our land like they did with Georgia. If we play our foreign policy smart, we’ll stay on top.
