Fire in Yokohama Chinatown burns at least 4 buildings, no injuries reported A fire at Yokohama Chinatown in Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo, has burned at least four buildings, but police and fire officials say no one has been reported injured or trapped.

Local police say they received a report at 5:20 p.m. on Friday that houses were burning in Yokohama City’s Chinatown.

More than 60 fire engines and a helicopter rushed to the scene. The fire was finally put out about 2 and a half hours later.

The blaze broke out in an area packed with buildings. The famous temple and tourist spot “Kuan Ti Miao” is also located nearby.
