Unlike some other nations* one usually needs to go to at least a neighboring country to gain wisdom. This post is an example what might be helpful for those who ponders on  right and wrong, if one wants to put an end to his/her suffering, or wants to stop hurting others.

“.. someone with five qualities is cast down to HELL. What five? They kill living creatures, steal, commit sexual misconduct, lie, and use alcoholic drinks that cause negligence. Someone with these five qualities is cast down to hell”.

(note, it’s not a “commandment”, it’s practice, and one puts conscious effort into this practice to get benefits for oneself and everyone around). It’s aligned with “don’t do evil”.

“they might do evil, but YOU DON’T”, neither support the acts of evil.

*Countries including Singapore, the US, Sweden, Norway, as well as Asian nations, and Switzerland, and Canada, etc have  Theravada (and other Buddhist) monasteries. Surely there is one or more monastic people in neighboring regions, like Poland (people honor their practitioners and invite from abroad), Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia (also honor theirs and invite folks from the UK, etc even nowadays). Thus everyone has a chance to get the benefits.
