Hello compatriots. Situation – I parked my car in this place for 3 hours in the evening. There is a sign like this, but it’s turned parallel to the road I was driving on, so it’s basically just not visible. When I returned, I couldn’t find the car, it turns out that I received a fine (€30-90, I haven’t received the report yet) and a €135 towing fee. Here, I am the only one who seems to have an absolutely absurd situation when the parked sign is pointing completely in the other direction and because of it, not only is a fine imposed, but the car is also towed? Is there a chance to demand something, is that sign here according to the law placed correctly and if you are not a local, you just have to guess that it is placed that way there? Address Mindaugo str. 29, Vilnius.
