    106 years have passed since the establishment of the first parliamentary republic in the Muslim East – the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.
    On May 28, 1918, the Declaration of Independence declaring Azerbaijan’s independence was adopted. The newly founded People’s Republic honorably fulfilled the difficult and important mission it took on, working to the limit of its capabilities. The first parliament and government were organized. The borders of the country were determined, the flag, anthem and coat of arms were adopted. The Azerbaijani language was declared the state language, serious steps were taken in the field of state building 🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿

      Here we go again with the bullshit map of *”Azerbaijan Democratic Republic”* – that includes Syunik & Lake Sevan.

      Syunik & Lake Sevan have **NEVER** been part of Azerbaijan’s internationally recognized territory – whether independent Azerbaijan or soviet Azerbaijan.

      The *’Azerbaijan Democratic Republic’* map (which includes Syunik & Lake Sevan) published in Azerbaijani history books is based on the lie – that the map was approved at the Paris Peace Conference, when in fact the complete opposite happened and it was **REJECTED** at the Paris Peace Conference.

      It was a map Azerbaijan wanted enforced and instead of accepting the rejection of the map – Azerbaijan decided to just stick to the lie that it was approved.

      How the hell is Armenia supposed to sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan – when Azerbaijan won’t even acknowledge the truth about the actual internationally recognized borders of the very first independent Azerbaijani nation?
