It’s notable that this exhibition was jointly opened with both the Armenian ambassador and the Speaker of the House of Commons (who is a member of parliament). In Canada, the Prime Minister is the chief of the party (including the parliamentarians). This is unlike the U.S., where the President holds no authority over members of Congress, even of the same party.
