It is a mystery for me why nobody wants to restore Tatevi Anapat (first 4 photos) and Halidzor (last ones)

I swear, Vorotan gorge has an insane amount of cultural potential, there is so much we can do there. For example, make a bike road from Goris to Tatev (it would take +-2-3 hours overall) through Khndzoresk, Hin Khod, Shinuhayr, Halidzor, Devil Bridge, Tatevi Anapat and etc

It is a shame the state the Tatevi Anapat is in, especially for what is a proposed UNESCO world heritage site. I do remember seeing a comment a couple months back from someone who said they were going to do restoration work over the summer though what that entails, I don’t know.

Totally agree. Tatevi Mets is one of the most moving places I’ve visited in Armenia. Once home to hundreds of devotees from a few hundred years ago, it is kept alive by a single hermit who still lives there. It would be amazing to see it restored to its former splendor! Here are some more photos from my visit last summer if anyone is interested: [The Great Hermitage of Tatev](https://www.intofarlands.com/explore/the-great-hermitage-of-tatev)

I’d assume people DO want to restore them – just have to focus on what can be done in any given moment with limited resources. I’m encouraged by people like you who show us all these beautiful places and advocate for them!
