The Siberian Battalion are one of the three main groups making up the Russian Liberation Forces – anti-Putin Russians fighting for Ukraine & making occasional pushes into Russian territory in the Belgorod, Kursk & Bryansk Oblasts.

The Siberian Battalion are generally considered to be the most left wing of the RLF groups, and support autonomy or independence for Siberia.

  2. Siberians have done more for Russia than Moscow, they deserve to not be part of Kremlin.

A wild dream come true, if they can return home after gaining combat experience and help begin breaking off the independent regions inside Russia.

  4. I wish Siberians and Chechens good luck in their future freedom/independence war, but logistically they can’t expect any help and if they do get their independence *(they probably will)* – it’ll afterwards be a life of waiting for Russia’s invasion on them which will inevitably come.

Maybe if enough federal states decide to go independent they can help each other in the long run? We seen how some big city governors being upset about how when something happens to Moscow it’s a disaster for the whole country but when something much more terrible happens anywhere else it’s nobodies business.

Simple logic: Fight Putin, gain independence, use Siberia’s huge resources to enrich Siberians.

Stupid RuZZia logic: Die FOR Putin, in a pointless war, return dead or badly disabled, STILL poor and has no future, because Putin sucking Siberia dry.

Unfortunately, there are many Siberians who prefer stupid RuZZia logic.

Siberia already sounds like a country and Siberians are its citizens, they should not belong to Putin’s RuZZia.

  6. The soldiers are training with H&K MG5 (*image 1*) and CZ Bren rifles (*image 4*), so it seems they’re issued some of the best small arms within AFU inventory.

  7. Hope things work out for these Siberians and Nationhood for Siberia. Maybe Siberia starts a trend.

  8. My male ancestors were all sent to Siberia during the purges of the 1930s from Ukraine. I wonder how many Siberians are Ukrainian descendants. My family never heard from them again, so we assumed they all died but who knows. Maybe I got a few cousins running around out there.

I’d be curious to know the numbers in these legions and battalions. Anyone know anyplace they’re published? Or is it held back for OPSEC?

  10. Well they got good equipment. It looks like a lot of them have SCARs and those are what north of 3 grand each right?
